Thrilling solar eclipse and satisfaction of showing it to kids!

Yesterday on 25/10/2022, there was a partial solar eclipse and it was a thrilling experience! Nature fully cooperated. In a small programme, I could show it to kids and elders through a telescope with filter, solar goggle and mirror images. While experiencing it, the kids and the elders were so happy! Their faces were speaking and they were actually screaming in joy! They also were thanking me many times. Even for elders, it was a life- time experience.
Of course, the eclipse was wonderful. The moment the moon touched the image path of the sun, the circular shape of the sun got changed. It was a wonderful treat! I feel short of words to describe it! Within no time, the moon was coming before the sun. Everyone seeing this was thrilled. In Pune, the eclipse was only 23% - i.e. the sun light was just 23% obstructed by the moon, but it was a 100% delight. Just before the sun-set, the moon started going out. The sun was set in the eclipsed position to demonstrate a marvelous view! It was an unprecedented treat for the kids. They were even enjoying eclipse images of a small mirror. Along with the eclipse, we could also observe sun- spots. In the same place, I also showed Jupiter and Saturn in the night and for that too, the kids and elders came in large numbers!

I could experience that even with such small acts, we can give a great joy and never- before- experience to many people! Instead of merely seeing on a screen or just reading theory, even a little bit of practical experience is such a beautiful thing, we experienced. Photos taken during the eclipse can be seen here:
