Conjunction of Moon and Jupiter

Hello. After midnight, i.e. on the early dawn of 3rd November at around 2 am, Moon will obstruct Jupiter when seen from South India and some other regions. From the rest of the India, they will appear so close to each other. As Moon and Jupiter both are bright objects, this wonderful view can be enjoyed even from cities. They will rise in the East by midnight. In November there are many interesting sky events coming up.

After this conjunction, on 7th November Venus and Spica bright star would appear close to each other just before Sunrise. Venus has just emerged in the dawn sky and it is very bright these days. The crescent Moon will also be nearby Venus and Spica. Then on early dawn of 16th November, red planet Mars and Jupiter will be so close to each other. It is also the time of Leonid meteor shower having its peak around 18th November. The meteor shower will be near Jupiter and Mars. So coming days are excellent and they mark beginning of the sky watching season.

 चंद्र- गुरूची युती

नमस्कार. आज मध्यरात्री म्हणजे 3 नोव्हेंबरच्या पहाटे साधारण 2 च्या सुमारास दक्षिण भारतातून व अन्य काही प्रदेशांमधून बघताना चंद्रामुळे गुरू झाकला गेलेला दिसेल. भारताच्या उर्वरित भागातून त्यांची युती दिसेल. चंद्र व गुरू एकमेकांच्या अतिशय जवळ दिसतील. दोघेही अतिशय ठळक असल्यामुळे ते शहरात दिव्यांच्या प्रकाशातूनही दिसतील. मध्यरात्रीच्या सुमारास ते पूर्वेला उगवतील. नोव्हेंबरमध्ये आकाशात अशा अनेक गमती बघायला मिळणार आहेत.

ह्या युतीनंतर 7 नोव्हेंबरच्या पहाटे सूर्योदयाच्या थोडा वेळ आधी तेजस्वी शुक्र व चित्रा पूर्वेला एकमेकांच्या जवळ दिसतील. शुक्र आता पहाटेच्या आकाशात दिसायला सुरूवात झाली आहे आणि तो सध्या अतिशय तेजस्वी आहे. ह्या दोघांच्या जवळ पहाटेची अगदी बारीक चंद्र कोरसुद्धा असेल. त्यानंतर 16 नोव्हेंबरच्या पहाटे लालसर मंगळ आणि गुरू हे एकमेकांच्या जवळ दिसतील. त्याच सुमारास सिंह राशीतला उल्कावर्षाव त्याच परिसरात बघायला मिळेल. तो 18 नोव्हेंबरला सर्वाधिक दिसतो. त्यासाठी शहरापासून दूर अंधार असलेल्या ठिकाणी जावं लागेल. त्यामुळे येत्या रात्री आकाश निरीक्षणासाठी छान आहेत.

प्रसिद्ध युट्युबर आणि इन्फ्लुएंसर मुक्ता नार्वेकर ह्यांनी अंजनवेल कृषि पर्यटनाच्या व्हिडिओमध्ये आकाश दर्शनाचा उल्लेख केला आहे. मी व माझा मित्र गिरीश मांधळे- आमच्या आकाश दर्शन सत्रांबद्दल मुक्ताने त्यात माहिती दिली आहे. ह्या व्हिडिओमध्ये २८ मिनिटांनंतर आकाश दर्शनाचं वर्णन आणि काही फोटोजसुद्धा आहेत.
