In Assam more than 80 people have died and lacs of people are displaced. After climate change and global warming, such calamities are only going to increase in the future. Therefore those who can should help others. Seva Bharati Poorbanchal is doing relief work in Assam and the work of this organization is known to my relatives. It is working at many places and they are distributing food items, drinking water, ration kits, sanitation kits, blankets, clothes, necessary medicines etc. I have made a small contribution. You also can contribute whatever easily possible for you. You can contribute to this work or work of any other organization known to you.

Lonavala after the flood...

Hello. Some days ago Western Maharashtra saw unprecented rain and flood. Lonavala saw entire season- rain in just two days. It resulted in massive floods there and rivers Indrayani and Pavana became threatening from Lonavala- Pimpri- Chinchwad and to Pune also. My friend from Lonavala- Shrirangaji had eight feet water in his house. His ground floor- house in Yogeshwar society, Bhangarwadi, Lonavala was half under water for two days. The massive flood has caused severe damage. Hudco colony suffered heavily. There people were rescued through boats by NDRF.
