Are we ready for unexpected situations!

✪ Too much comfort ultimately leads to much discomfort
✪ Over dependence on technology is dangerous
✪ Are children prepared to face challenging situations?
✪ Suppose if internet is down for 5 days, WHAT we will do?
✪ Petrol is finishing, what if it happens tomorrow?
✪ Calamities are on their way
✪ How we can help ourselves and others in an emergency?

There was a science- story written by Dr. Jayant Narlikar. All tasks on the Earth are done by machines. Some computers control these machines. Later on number of the computers becomes so huge that one super computer controls them. And then one day, this super computer stops helping us! It leads to a dangerous situation. We are already seeing this happen. Such things are happening.  We have started to get all things done from the machines. We find the location on google map. We get the place, but we don’t understand the road and the surrounding. As we search the information on mobile, our dialogue with fellow humans cease. And as we go everywhere “without mistaking”, the joy of losing gets away. We lose our capacities for things which we start getting done by the machines. This slowly leads to decay of our capacities. When we easily use a two- wheeler, our walking reduces. When we get instant answers on the internet, our persistence, patience and learning in seeking ceases.

Today everywhere it is the technology. And too much of anything is not desirable. Even too much technology and too much comfort also. Some jerks should be there. We should remain grounded. And the obsession to "further, more and better" is not good. That day's horror airplane crash! Experts are analyzing it. But the situation is such that we feel afraid of the technology. How much advanced the technology is, the question arises- are we sufficiently deep rooted in it? Also competitions of the technology and newly evolving systems! That can also lead to unprecedented chaos.
