Experiment 34. Colour and soap

Take some milk in one large plate. The plate should be half filled. Then add some oil paint colour. Some portion of the milk will be coloured. Now attach some liquid hand wash to a straw. Bring the straw near the colour. Immediately the colour will repel away. If you blow air onto the colour, then it will create a circle of colourless liquid. The reason for this is that hand wash or soap separates water from oil or dirt. Some components of the hand wash attract water and some repel the oil or the dirt particles. Precisely due to this reason, we use soap to remove dust and dirt! 

Activity 34. Reflection of a drawing!

Do you know that by using soap, we can make impressions. Even soap can be used to make a duplicate key. Can you make a copy of your writing without using a carbon paper? If you don't know the carbon paper, then ask elders! If you draw  by putting a page on a thin clear paper, then the drawing also gets printed on that thin paper. Or you can do this. Put plenty of ink on one paper and make it totally blue. Now place it on another paper. When you write on the other side of the blue paper, then it will be printed on the page that is below!


प्रयोग 34. रंग आणि साबण

एका मोठ्या ताटलीत अर्धी ताटली भरेल इतके दुध ओता. त्यामध्ये ऑईल पेंटचा रंग टाका. दुधाच्या काही भागाला रंग येईल. आता एका स्ट्रॉला थोडं लिक्विड हँड वॉश लावा. हँड वॉश लावलेलं टोक त्या रंगाच्या जवळ आणा. लगेच रंग बाजूला सरकेल. वरून फुंकर मारली तर आतमध्ये रंग नसलेल्या जागेचं वर्तुळ तयार होईल. हे होण्याचं कारण म्हणजे हँड वॉश किंवा साबण हा पाणी व तेल- धुळ ह्यांना वेगळं करतो. हँड वॉशमधले काही घटक पाण्याला आकर्षित करतात व तेलाला किंवा धुळीला दूर सारतात. ह्याच कारणामुळे आपण धुळ काढण्यासाठी साबण वापरतो! 

गंमत 34.  चित्राचं प्रतिबिंब!

साबणाचा वापर करून ठसे बनवता येतात हे तुम्हांला माहिती आहे का? अगदी डुप्लिकेट चावीसुद्धा बनवताना साबणाचा उपयोग होऊ शकतो. कार्बनचा पेपर न वापरता तुम्ही जे लिहीता त्याची प्रत तयार करू शकता का? कार्बन पेपर म्हणजे काय हा प्रश्न असेल तर मोठ्यांना उत्तर विचारा! को-या पातळ कागदावर दुसरं पान ठेवून तुम्ही पेन्सिलीने चित्र काढलं तर तेच चित्र तुम्हांला त्या पातळ कागदावरही उमटलेलं दिसेल. किंवा तुम्ही असंही करू शकता. एका कागदावर खूप शाई लावा व तो कागद अगदी निळा करा. आता तो दुस-या कागदावर ठेवा.  निळ्या केलेल्या त्या कागदाच्या दुस-या बाजूने तुम्ही लिहीलं तर ते खालच्या कागदावरही उमटेल!
