Experiment 19. Cool fire!

For this experiment, you will need help of elder friends or siblings. Fine one liquid hand sanitizer. Take few drops out of it and place them on one hard paper. Spread the drops by using your finger. Then lift the hard paper by using a pincer. Carefully use match stick and burn the drops gently. You will see a blue flame. It will burn the sanitizer drops, but the paper would not burn! This happens due to the fact that hand sanitzer burns at low heat level. The alcohol has low boiling point and their flame is relatively cooler. It does not burn the paper, but only burns itself with almost invisible flame! Enjoy with care.

Activity 19. Speaking in only one language

This is not THAT easy! Your task is to choose any one language and speak in it for 1 minute i.e. 60 seconds! Do not use any word which is from another language! Try! Not easy! Whatever be your language, you are bound to use at least two words in other language. You can play this game with friends. When one will speak, others will check. You can play alternately. The one who uses the least foreign words will win!


प्रयोग 19. शीत ज्योत!

ह्या प्रयोगासाठी तुम्हांला मोठ्या ताई- दादांची मदत लागेल. एक पुठ्ठा घ्या. हँड सॅनिटायझर मिळवा. सॅनिटायझरचे काही थेंब एका पुठ्ठ्यावर फवारा. ते बोटाने पसरवा. तो पुठ्ठा सांडशी किंवा पकडीमध्ये उचलून धरा व त्यावर थेंबांना काडेपेटीने हलकेच पेटवा. निळी अंधुक ज्योत दिसेल व त्यामध्ये सॅनिटायझर जळेल पण पुठ्ठा जळणार नाही. असं होण्याचं कारण हे आहे की, सॅनिटायझरमध्ये असलेलं अल्कोहोल कमी तपमानाला जळतं. त्याचा उत्कलनांक कमी आहे. तपमान कमी असल्यामुळे पुठ्ठा जळत नाही. फक्त तेच जळतं आणि जवळ जवळ अदृश्य अशी ज्योत दिसते. काळजी घ्या आणि आनंद घ्या!

गंमत 19. एकाच भाषेत बोलायचं

एक मिनिट एकाच भाषेत बोलायचं. हे वाटतं तितकं सोपं नाहीय. कोणतीही सोपी भाषा घेऊन प्रयत्न करून पाहा. एक मिनिट म्हणजे 60 सेकंद. फक्त एक भाषा. एकही शब्द दुस-या भाषेचा आला नाही पाहिजे! सोपं वाटतंय? करून पाहा. हवं तर मित्रांसोबत हा खेळ खेळा. एक जण बोलेल व इतर जण तपासतील! हा एक खेळ होऊ शकतो. जितके शब्द दुस-या भाषेतले बोलाल ते नोट करा! सगळ्यांत कमी जो असे शब्द वापरेल तो जिंकेल! बघा, मीसुद्धा दुस-या भाषेतले किती शब्द लिहीलेत इथे!
