Experiment 8. One more thing creating sparks

Just like pebbles, there  is one more thing which generates sparks! And you don't need much effort to do it. It almost happens on its own. You need darkness to experience this. In the night, just spread your blanket. After some time, fold it. While you fold it, there is static electricity in the blanket and you can clearly see sparks. For this, you need dry weather. If it is not automatically generated, you can rub and fold it again. You need total darkness to see it.

Activity 8. Using sparks

For this, you need help from elders. Pebble stone sparks or blanket sparks, you can use them to generate fire. Take a small piece of dry paper. Put it on one pebble stone. Then strike the other pebble stone over it. After some attempts, you can set it ablaze! Same with the blanket. But take care and do not do this alone. Do you know there is one more way to generate fire? You can use our Sun for this! Think. If you know, do it again with your friends.

प्रयोग 8. ठिणग्या तयार करणारी गोष्ट

गारगोटीप्रमाणेच अजून एक वस्तुही ठिणग्या तयार करते! आणि त्यासाठी फार प्रयत्नही करावा लागत नाही. आपोआप ठिणग्या तयार होतात. त्याचा अनुभव घेण्यासाठी अंधार लागेल. रात्र झाल्यावर तुमच्याकडे असलेलं ब्लँकेट पसरवा. थोड्या वेळाने त्याची घडी करा. तुम्ही घडी कराल तेव्हा त्यामध्ये स्थितीज विद्युत तयार होते आणि त्यामुळे तुम्हांला ठिणग्या दिसू शकतात. कोरड्या हवेत हे लवकर होतं. जर ठिणग्या आपोआप तयार झाल्या नाहीत तर तुम्ही तिची घडी परत करा, तिच्या एका भागाने दुस-या भागावर घासा. पूर्ण अंधार असेल तर ठिणग्या दिसतील.

गंमत 8. ठिणग्यांपासून आग

त्यासाठी तुम्हांला मोठ्यांची मदत लागेल. गारगोट्या किंवा ब्लँकेट वापरून तुम्ही आग पेटवू शकता. कोरड्या कागदाचा तुकडा घ्या. तो एका गारगोटीवर ठेवा. मग दुस-या गारगोटीने त्या गारगोटीला घासा. काही वेळ प्रयत्न केल्यावर तुम्ही तो कागदाचा तुकडा पेटवू शकता. आणि ब्लँकेट वापरूनही तुम्ही हेकरू शकता. पण हे करताना काळजी घ्या व एकट्याने करू नका. आग पेटवण्याचा आणखी एक मार्ग तुम्हांला माहिती आहे का? त्यासाठी तुम्ही सूर्याची मदत घेऊ शकता! विचार करा. जर तुम्हांला माहिती असेल तर मित्रांसोबत ते करून पाहा.
